Can somebody explain the ship's priest in "Battleship Potemkin"? - explain the parts of a ship
I do not get the priest in the film. Why was it? As the word "Remember the Lord" is the man to convince to stop the revolt? When the priest died, we should not reflect badly on the set (the public), rather than to glorify what the film tries to do. Why Eisenstein seem to enjoy putting an end to what seemed a trivial matter, I do not understand, to take.
